In addition to timetabled classes, the Centre’s intensive and tailor-made short courses have proven to be of particular interest to industry and business.

The language learning packages include an initial language assessment of participants’ existing knowledge and skills in the language, as well as an analysis of their particular learning needs.

The learners will develop transferable skills and knowledge in areas such as:
a) communication in their own and the target language in work-based contexts
b) cultural knowledge and awareness
c) confidence, adaptability, independence, team-work and interpersonal skills, networking and problem solving
