Professional courses

Many of our academic tutors are experienced practitioners in the field of management as well as specialists in their own subject area. The subject area offers excellent links with some of the professional bodies and qualifications at a range of levels. All our professional awards are offered as programmes of study part time to meet the needs of the applicants and the employers.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) awards are part-time professional courses that operate on three levels: Professional Certificate, Professional Diploma and Professional Postgraduate Diploma. The CIM qualifications are internationally recognised and provide an excellent method of progressing career prospects.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) course is suitable for current and aspiring human resource specialists and managers. The course is delivered through a combination of taught sessions at Glyndŵr University and private study using flexible learning materials developed by the CIPD.
