Christopher has been a senior lecturer in the School of Business since 1987. He began his career in local government, and having gained experience in part-time lecturing with the Open University and Colleges in Birmingham and Warrington, made the transition to full-time lecturer in 1987. Since 2000 Christopher has been programme leader for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Programme at Glyndŵr University. This has entailed success fully ensuring revalidation by CIPD in 2001 and 2006. The programme has grown to an average intake of around 100 students a year on various levels. Christopher’s special interest is in Personal Development. Christopher also teaches on Degree, MBA and MA HRM programmes and is the Business School’s Health and Safety representative.
